2. I'm going to criticize four different forms of print media which are billboards, magazines, brochures and posters. I chose these four because I think they all diverse, maybe a billboard and a poster have a few things in common, but they aren't exactly the same tough.
You can already see the big billboards in cities or on the freeways from faraway. This is very good for the companies since many people can see their ads this way and have enough time to look at it. Eventough it can be extremely annoying to have to look at these big fake smiling faces for such a long time, sometimes it even can be scary when you get that feeling that they are staring the whole time at you. Or it's very bad when you wake up on a Sunday morning in your penthouse apartment and just want to enjoy the view of your beautiful city... but than you have to look at this awful new billboard right in front of your window. It's kind of the same feeling when you just want to read some interesting aricles in your favourite magazine... but when you open it you only can find lots of unnecessary ads. I mean you've paid for the stories and information in the magazine, not for the ads.
Actually flyers are very cool, I mean they're handy, have most of the time a nice designe and say you only the most important information, so you immediatly know what you have to know. But when you're walking down the main Street of a town you literally get bombarded with flyers which are useless for you. It is the same with posters in a town, they're everywhere and with everything on them. I think that most of the time you don't pay attention to them anymore, except you're very interested in the thing on the poster.
I think that every media, especially print medias, have to be aesthetic. It's like without a good appearance of the medias we don't really notice them. They have all some positive things, and some negatives. Ads in the medias can be very cool, but often they are unnecessary and annoying for the people. Print medias can give us a lot of information and are very nice to look at it, but sometimes they're just to many ads.
